WORRYING ABOUT NANKABIRWA

A friend and I were hanging out recently when in one of those moments when you have run out of conversation, she blurted out that Nankabirwa Rosemary, yes the Ntv news anchor, is 40 years old. You guys, the argument that followed almost had us raining blows on each others worn out braids. She insisted this piece of gossip was from a legitimate source while I swore on my baby doll from my tenth birthday that Nankabirwa,she of the lovely hair and skin, can’t be a day over 31 at the most. But then a few days ago I was watching news and it was like Nankabirwa had aged overnight! It was like watching The Simpson movie all over again. You remember the part when the town runs out of supplies including botox and as the news anchor is getting on with his job of reading news, his face suddenly sags and he has to hold back his skin with a tooth pick? Meanwhile that movie was really hilarious. Not that Nankabirwa has run out of botox, obviously, because as much as Ntv has the most well paid news anchorS, the salary can’t be at that level! But am I right in being worried about Nankabirwa? Have we all noticed this change?
