The only legitimate East African reality show is back!!!! A combination of Idols and BigBrother( without the desperate sluts and attention whores), Project Fame pitts contenstants from different East African countries against each other in the manner of he/she who doesn't necessarily sing the best but has the most votes wins the 5 million kenyan shillings plus a laptop and a recording contract with a major South African recording company.
Past winners include Valerie Kimani (kenya), Estar (uganda),Alpha(Rwanda) and this year i predict that Southern Sudanese girl who auditioned last last week at the Juba auditions.Yes, Southern Sudern has been added to the roster of countries this season. I didn't know they were part of East Africa, though it makes sense as every African country that is confused about its identity on the continent ends up in East Africa.Personally, am excited that they are on board because if the Juba auditions are anything to go by,they will be carrying alot of drama to the show.
And ofcourse, Ian and his ever present mood swings. Every body hates Ian but I love him. His sarcastic retort to Hemedi's horrible rendition of Michael Jackson's Human nature circa 2008 has got me laughing up to this very day!!
So, let's gird our loins and prepare for a fun season full of wannabes, faux romances, annoying housemates, hilarious house mates, heartbreaking evictions and ofcourse Ian!!!!
